Presentation of Breizh Europa

Breizh Europa (website) was inaugurated in press conferences organized on 23 October 2013 in Rennes, Nantes and Brest. Presided by Caroline Ollivro, a former member of the MoDem center right party, Breizh Europa supports "an autonomous, reunified Brittany within a federal Europe".

Since this foundation, Breizh Europa has competed in elections organized in 2014 and 2015, with little but not insignificant outcome.
In 2014, the list "Rennes Bretagne Europe", led by C. Ollivro, obtained 2,261 votes (3.8%) in the first round of the Rennes municipal elections. The same year, Breizh Europa joined the "Nous te ferons Europe !" list set up by two other regionalist parties, Mouvement Bretagne et progrès (MBP) and Parti breton (PB) for the elections for the European Parliament; the list obtained 3.5% of the votes. C. Ollivro also competed that year in the Senate elections, as No. 2, on the list "Union du centre", which obtained 189 votes (7.7%).
In 2015, Breizh Europe refused to join the "Oui la Bretagne" list set up by Mouvement Bretagne et progrès and Union démocratique bretonne (UDB), which obtained 80,727 votes (6.7%) in the first round; of the regional elections. Breizh Europe supported the list presented by Les Républicains (LR); 10th on the departmental list for Ille-et-Vilaine, C. Ollivro was not elected.

Flag of Breizh Europa

The flag of Breizh Europa (photo, photo) is white with the party's emblem in the middle.

The emblem of the party is made of stylized letters "B" and "E", indeed the same graphical element mirrored, black (Brittany) and light blue 'Europe), respectively. Beneath the letters appears the writing "breizh europa" in the respective colours.
On the flag, the writing is "breizh europa.com", ". com" in black. This is quite odd, since the domain 'breizheuropa.com" is parked, the party's genuine domain being, as expected for a regionalist Breton party, "breizeuropa.bzh".
